Welcome to another edition of weekend observations where I give reviews on events and locations I visit. This weekend I attended the "Eggs Over the Roc" brunch, Brooklyn Tap House, New Apollo , and Attic roof top.
New Apollo

My new pregame spot, that picture is a long island iced tea. Yes, the Chinese food spot sells liquor and you can get it the size of the chinese iced tea containers. Unfortunately, I didn't try the food, I heard it was good. If you like traditional Chinese food with adult beverages, this is the place for you. The drink menu is diverse, there is something for everyone from fruity slushy drinks to Cognac "on the rocks". The food is normal new York chinese food selection. I will probably return to this place this weekend before HennyPalooza.

Attic Rooftop

Birthday celebration for IG: JustZeke. The venue was dope, too bad the weather did not allow us to fully experience the rooftop vibe. The rain did not permit for us to be outside like one would imagine for a roof top party. However, I did have fun and the people who attended did enjoy themselves. It is always a good feeling to reunite with someone the people you went away to school with. All in all a good event, liquor was pouring, people were dancing, what more can you ask for?. If you haven't been to a Trix and Zeke party from DC to Baltimore to NYC, find your way to one.

Had to make a quick stop at one of my favorite bar to watch game 7 of the Houston Rockets vs. L.A. Clippers game. With the abundance of tv screens it was a great time watching James Harden hitting step back jump shots. The craft beers are always on point , also; the wing special for the playoffs didn't hurt the pockets much. I recommend the wings and mac n these skillet, wash it down with an Angry Orchard.

Eggs over The Roc @ Seoul Chicken

Nice idea for a brunch mingle, Instead of the sit down and order, it was a stand up and try these sliders type of event. Food was served hor dourves style. The theme was "the Roc ", the dj played music from the Dame Dash and Jay - Z Rocafella era of music. It was a different experience, enjoyable, the drinks were strong and the people were social, it's an event I would attend again, Maybe they can theme the next one "Eggs over Dancehall " or "Eggs over R.Kelly "?
