Weekend Observations: Mother's Day Weekend edition

Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful "life givers" that we call Mothers.  I adore you women so much that all week I will be celebrating your efforts on Twitter.  Follow Me @AbruptnDemandin and @TheProfessor_JT (Read his blog) as we tweet #WomenAppreciationWeek or #WAW all week.

This weekend I left the state and took myself to my second home, Baltimore, MD. It was an interesting trip due to car trouble, all is well though.

A loft hotel

I'm not giving away this location, Google search the hotel, It has many locations  across the United States and In different countries around the world.

The Hotel has a very modern theme, a full bar, pool table and lounge area, gym,  etc. The rooms aren't as big the the space design is nice and I didn't feel cramped. My favorite part of the hotel is the bar, the drinks were reasonably priced:  mixed drinks in the $10 range,  beers and ciders were around $5. So I was Lit, and had a pretty good time, the hotel has a convenience area for drinks and food to "refuel". I love the color schemes and design if the hotel in general. Another great factor for this hotel was it was located close to the Arundel  Mills Mall.

Pappas Seafood
1801 Taylor Avenue

Fresh seafood cooked upon order,  The wait for the food will take awhile, but; it is well worth it, one of my favorite restaurants.  I recommend; the deviled eggs with crab meat and the imperial crab with a side of macaroni salad. Definitely a place I make a stop to when I visit Maryland.

Maryland Live Casino
Arundel Mills Mall, MD

Parking was tight,  nothing really stood out about this place as compared to other casinos I have been to. I lost money, which means I don't have a great story to tell, if you like gambling they do have slots and real people to play in Black Jack,  also, the restaurants near, are nice. I would go back ,it is a normal casino.
