MVP talk

The consistency of the likes of Steph Curry or James Harden is definitely important when voting for MVP. Each of those players have come out this season on fire and put in a solid claim on the award.  Recently, Russell Westbrook and Lebron James have turned up their game; Russell Westbrook, in his last 6 games has put up 5 triple doubles and is averaging 36 points , 12 rebounds , and 11 assists. Since the start of the new year, King James has turned the ship around in Cleveland and has the fans back on the bandwagon.

Who is your NBA MVP if you had to give it to a player today?

Draft Stuff

Is Jahlil Okafor the clear cut #1 pick?
The Duke freshman standout is a strong skilled presence in the low block and an outstanding rebounder, however;  Can the team with the #1 pick pass up on versatility of Karl-Anthony Towns?  Or a do it all guard D'Angelo Russell ?  How about the the potential of Emmanuel Mudiay, the guard with the physical attributes that bring comparison to Russell Westbrook?  All in all, the team with the first pick in the draft has homework to do, the talent in this draft won't make this decisions easy.

Who would you pick with the first overall choice?

NFL

Farewell

This might be the saddest year I ever had as a 49er fan, in a short NFL career (8 years) Patrick Willis will announce his retirement from the NFL. The all pro linebacker has made the Pro Bowl 7 of his 8 years in the league and seemed to be on his way to Canton, Ohio after his playing days we're over. It is expected that  Justin Smith will join Willis in retirement and be among the many departures from the 49er organization this off season.

With these moves made, are the 49ers rebuilding or retooling for a playoff run?

What is going on with the Philadelphia Eagles and Chip Kelly,  he is allowing all the stars that made his offense work to leave via free agency or by trade.

Does he believe in his spread system so much that he thinks any player can fit?
