Brunch

Streets
53 Broadway,  Brooklyn,  NY
Wonderful venue , it hurts my heart to drop this gem on you all. Such a great environment with good food, the selfish side of me wouldn't want this place to turn into another one of those "Brooklyn come through" spots where there is a 2 hour wait to be seated. Luckily for you all I am not a hater,  so let's talk about this wonderful place.
The venue is decent sized, the decor was appealing, It had a modern rustic feel, the look of wooden seats but finished well enough that you didn't think you were exactly at a picnic. Our water was served in jars but order drinks were in normal glassware.  I had the french toast with plantains with a side of Bacon,  I definitely recommend the french toast,  the combination of plantains, french toast and syrup was one of the best I ever had. I am a lover of french toast, just know I critique that dish hard. The service was good, the drinks were good even though they were a bit pricey. I will go back to this place a few times this summer.

Day party

OPENSZN day party
17 Meadow Street
The black hippie party,  or that's what I call it. The venue is basically a warehouse, a huge open space with a bar and a mini stage the reason I say hippie party is because of  graffiti on the walls, natural hair girls with their own individual style,  The too cool for school kind of men. It was one of the better parties I have been to, wasn't the uptight bottles on deck type party. It was a dress comfortable,  relaxed good music and people were actually dancing.  A fun party, not a show off party, I enjoyed that.  I would definitely return to another one of these events.

Social Media / Television

Winter is coming
Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 1
HBO

Certain television shows I enjoy watching alongside following my twitter timeline because it makes the experience better.  It reminds me of watching the show with friends and family and you have such interesting colored commentary. The first episode has received mixed reviews,  personally I liked it, I feel the writers were building up characters and setting up a plot for us to follow along.  In my history of literature cliff hangers are to be built up, and I appreciate the writers building up this story line.  I'm sure they will leave us wanting more (in a good way) by the end of the season.  However, I did cheat and took advantage of the first 4 episodes being leaked. No I will not give the link here for obvious copyright reasons, but if you are a bit tech savvy or have a little bit of geek in you, I'm sure you can surf the web and find a link.
Let's just say the story line develops well.
