Ratchet Friday: Top 5 ways Love will F@#k you over

Author : @Abruptndemandin

Top 5 ways love will screw you over,  such a wonderful feeling can end up leaving you in shambles both emotionally and physically.

Your intial thought is going to be, yo, this guy is simpin'. You're right, It's real n!99@ thoughts though. Love, the type of love that has you thinking about recent decisions @ 1 am friday morning while you type up a blog post. I mean the type of love where you pursue a woman who has no interest in you, but you have faith that once the opportunity is given you will prove to her that she wasted time giving other men a chance; when all that she wants will be provided by you (Excuse my Draking). If you can't relate, move on to the next blog post. Ok, let's dive in to how this passion can turn your life upside down.

Love is the devil's work in 3... 2... 1....

5~Distraction~

Love comes like a thief in the night (my bad chris brown) and takes all the things you find important and puts it on the back burner.  Having such strong feelings for someone makes one question their rudimentary ideals. Ever see something in someone that you didnt like, but; this tingling feeling inside you made you over look it? Well, cupid's bitch @$$ is shooting his bum @$$ arrows up ya @$$. Being truly in love with someone at times makes you lose focus of your own personal goals; love is a selfless act and It happens to the best of us, learn from the experience and keep it moving.

4~Ruins Friendships~

While one builds a bond with his/her loved one, the time spent with friends is now diminished. Friends sometimes feel a way about you and may make comments that you are putting your bf/gf before the friendship. In actuality you are just enjoying your relationship,  I'm in my late 20's this is when a lot of men start settle down. Time spent with friends will be less and less, which means bonds with friends can be weakened. This is due to the fact one isn't moving the same way you're friends are accustomed to. I say try to find a middle ground, your friends are the strong bonds you have,  they aren't the ones that you are trying to build a family and a future with, if your friends don't understand this logic: F#&k  'em

3~Makes you a wimp ~

Being in love makes you have to think before you speak, you will find yourself trying to phrase statements in the least harmful way possible.  You care too much about the feelings of the one that has your attention and you become a little wimp that can't express your idea as bold as you are normally do. This is detrimental to communication between the two in the relationship. Once again Cupid shooting them arrows.

2~Regret ~

Second guessing yourself, when you sit back and look at the situation,  one may confuse the actions they took as the wrong ones. Love will make you question everything about yourself,  in a negative way, you will begin to nit pick your own behavior, petty things will take on a bigger role in your life. After you finish dissecting your actions and feelings, you will be left feeling regretful. You will regret not putting more effort or putting too much. Regret sucks yo!!!!!

1~Hurting someone you care about ~

By far;  the worst feeling in all of this is hurting the person you love.  More than likely one person in the relationship takes the separation harder than the other. There is no feeling worst than seeing the one you love upset over something you caused. Now you have to live with the guilt that the person you still have feelings for doesn't want any part of you.

In conclusion.....

"Cupid is Stupid"
